Creating the perfect home gym 7 things to consider, part 1

Space, budget and purpose

The number one concern when creating a home gym is what are the main purpose behind the gym (is it to get fit, to compete in a certain sport, to become a better dancer, to perform yoga at your residence, to train for a marathon or esc,.), how much space you have and how much of a budget you have for the assignment. Once you have figured out what activities you would like to do on a daily or weekly basis then you will then have to figure out your budget. If you have a shoe string budget you may have to build things own your own, find gym equipment that others no longer wish to have or if you have a big budget which means you can splurge a bit on what you really want and make it world class for anyone. The simple fact is that it has to make sense for your budget and the purpose behind you deciding to build a gym at home.

The time to split firewood is here, 10 benefits of splitting wood with an axe

Often times we look for different types of workouts that will help us with our health and fitness which we want to incorporate into our exercise regimen that wont burn us out and give benefits to us. One of the ways we can find fitness is by working out cutting wood and potential profit that could be made from the activity.

  1. Creating a source of heat at your house using a wood stove, fireplace at an inexpensive cost. This is great for those who love the heat but do not want an outrages gas bill.
  2. You can sell firewood to those who are looking to heat their house at an inexpensive cost.
  3. The action of cutting wood causes you to use your shoulders, Arms and upper body which is not a boring action like bench pressing or shoulder pressing in a gym.
  4. When you actually cut wood with your full force you will incoparate your legs much like a semi squat lowering you butt and bending your legs on the thrust down.
  5. It teaches your body to work with full body motion teaching you how to produce kinetic energy being able to create a powerful motion using your full body which is something most exercises can not teach you to do.
  6. It can be done outdoors out of the gym which allot of people tend to get brunt out due to the stagnant nature of working out in a workout facility.
  7. You are working out your core which is maximized when you are using a good form which causes you to generate power in your legs and to come down powerfully downward with your core.
  8. Chopping wood much like running is a great stress reliever which can help you relax after a hard week of work or a very stressful day.
  9. Chopping wood for a lady or even guys can be a great way to build self confidence or a great self esteem booster, the act of slicing wood with one shot after a few swings is a great feeling that allows you to have a sense of accomplishment and being able to be able to stand up and fight other goals.
  10. Helps you with hand eye coordination and accuracy being able to aim at points of the wood pieces. When swinging the axe you will have to concentrate on your intendent point in order to hit the point… If you do not concentrate on actually hitting the mark you will not split the wood as intended

Using elements of ballet to help your weight lifting

One of the biggest misconception people have about weight lifting is the need for flexibility and the need for durability. Many would be surprised how flexible the top athletes of the the world especially when it comes to lifters. The ability to hit a proper power clean requires you to have your elbows high which is hard for those who are not flexible and/or often done incorrectly due to the lack of guidance.

The art of scouting

Many times the best or better player does not win or team doesn’t win due to good and great Scouts. Being able to find the bout or match that challenges the team will be the first place to start. If head coach chooses to scout a team personally themselves a lot of times there are penalties for doing such an act. If another coach does it as far as a middle school coach who is helping Scout for the high school coach often times this is not a breach of morality towards the sport. Whoever chooses to scout the team must have a pharaoh ideas and concepts of the sport itself. For instance, if you are scouting a team that is known for having an unorthodox style often times will have someone who is limited on their knowledge of the game and Sport to do a poor job determining the best strategies to counteract the style. The personal stylist does not have to be the smartest.

We will be adding more content to help coach learn how to scout other teams using tapes, actual game action, news reports and more. Until next time stay tuned….

Wrestling Move high corcth to a lift

I love this move because it allows you to be able to finish the High C when the opponent least expects it and be able to pop up and down with the ability to finish with a half to the right. Being able to do this move requires you to be able to preform the high crotch and to transition to the lift without getting caught underneath the opponent. The best time to implement this move is when your opponent is slightly worn down or to catch them when they least expect it on a good angle.
